Beelink has gone and made a beast of a mini PC with the GT-R by taking advantage of the incredible performance and TDP of the Ryzen 3550H. I purchased this unit originally as a media pc/server, however it is powerful enough that I’ll likely use it to help setup a minecraft server (a very CPU intensive application).

The integrated graphics (AMD Vega 8) is incredible at running games on steam, and you can easily use this as a main gaming system. If you are limited on space, or you’d like to setup this unit as a entertainment center in your living room, it will meet your needs and expectations.

My main concerns with this tiny unit was the thermals. I saw limited ventilation on the device and I was concerned that the device would overheat and the CPU would throttle. The PC started at 73.9F base temperature, and settled at 85.8F during idle. During which it was absolutely silent, and you wouldn’t even notice it in the room. Once I started pushing the CPU I noticed the fan kick up in high gear. Although the fan did get louder, it was not to an annoying level. And the temperature never exceeded 96F nor did the CPU throttle it’s performance. As long as the unit is placed in a location with plenty of airflow, I would expect no thermal issues.

Out of curiosity, I ran a quick geekbench test to see the processing capability of this little giant and to see how much further I could push it. It scored an admirable 878 single core / 2875 multi core. Based on these capabilities I am planning on testing out more CPU intensive workloads on the device.

They also managed to add a SSD and a HDD into the system. An incredible feat considering the size constraints. This allows for incredible storage performance from your SSD for frequent used programs, and a large capacity storage for archiving data.

Even though the memory is only DDR4 8G, you can easily access and upgrade to more RAM. Only one out of 2 slots come filled, so there’s a large room for expansion. Additionally there is an empty m.2 SATA slot that can be quickly upgraded with an additional SSD. Do be careful of the increased thermals of the unit if you upgrade.

Há dois problemas: 1) ainda preciso fazer o som embutido funcionar; 2) a memória RAM detectada é de 12.3GB, longe dos 16GB na especificação.

Lo pequeño que es y fácil de transportar, solamente lo uso para procesar videos capturados por un teléfono y recibidos por wifi, mis tiempos de procesamiento se redujeron (comparando con una laptop core i7, 7th gen 2 nucleos) de 2 minutos aprox, a 14 segundos aprox. Excelente producto.

I am not a techie, but I know power when I see it. I bought this tiny pc on a whim after many an hour waiting for my Sims 4 to load on my 2016 HP Laptop with all the Mods and Custom Content I have acquired over the years for the game (I also have nearly every expansion pack).
I transferred over my mod folder after a quick clean up of the folder and set to downloading and updating the game on Miss Beelink. When I loaded the game with mods turned on I had a timer set to see how fast it would load as my HP took anywhere from an hour to 3 to load.
THIS Queen Bee of a PC loaded the game in 6 minutes and 13 seconds. I’ve added additional mods, I’ve played the game heavy moving from lot to lot that normally set my computer to lagging. Yes, this did cause small delays now and then if I did them back to back BUT it always loaded. Never crashed, and the unit barely gets warm~! I can’t even hear the fan~!

This is suuuuuch an upgrade for me, so I HIGHLY recommend it.
