Happy with the product. Doesn’t ever disconnect from my Corsair k65. Wish the coil loop was longer but that’s just my preference.

The cable and sheath are Blue-Purple, the aviator connector is silver, but the plastic housing of the USB connectors is white instead of black which really ruins it for me.

I bought the colorway shown to work with my theme and it really stands out unfortunately.

-3 Stars for misleading product photos.

I had bought my first ever proper mechanical keyboard over 3 years ago, and was relatively satisfied with everything about it – including the USB-C – USB-A cable that it came with.

However, I recently started to get weary about the state of my desk and decided that I needed to sort out cable managment properly.

I came across keyboard setups online that featured a coiled cable and so I reckoned that I should get one for my keyboard too.

The Cooler Master coiled cable seemed like a great buy, especially since it was around £20 (which is a fraction of the price when compared to artisan ones) and it was from a recognisable brand.

Unfortunately, upon receving the coiled cable, the USB-C connector did not fit properly in the USB-C port on my keyboard – the connector was too loose and it was just too easy to disconnect it by accident.

Even though my keyboard functioned correctly, I was concerned that over time the USB-C connector would fail and not supply power to the keyboard anymore, and therefore I decided to send it back immediately.

I am not sure why Cooler Master made the USB-C connector so small, as it would never actually be too big for any keyboard with a recessed USB-C port.

Coil is tight and stays that way. Cable feels premium and for the price it is great value. I would highly recommend this.
