I popped a new one into an AirTag and it did not recognize the battery. I thought I might have mistakenly swapped out for old battery. But turns out old battery was a Panasonic. Checked out with voltmeter and it is holding at 3+V so it definitely has charge. However, the AirTag wouldn’t recognize the battery.

I initially bought Panasonic batteries for my key fob, the same brand as the original, but they arrived in a small plastic bag and none of them worked. Even after receiving a replacement set, I faced the same issue. This led me to suspect my fob was the problem, but the old, nearly depleted battery still performed better.
Eventually, I returned them and opted for Duracell batteries instead. These arrived in official packaging, with each battery easily accessible. To my relief, they worked perfectly as soon as I inserted one into the fob. From now on, I’m sticking with Duracell for reliability.

My Garage door opener stopped working on me. It been two years so it was time. When I took my battery out I noticed that they looked like my Truck door opener also. These batteries run between 3 to 6 a piece. I like to buy in bulk so this works for me. You should check your car remotes to see if this set will work for you.
