I bought this almost exactly 1 year ago to protect my AirPods from metal chips and scratches it was collecting from working in a machine shop. I am still using the same case, and have had no issues at all.

Things I like:

• very thick, softish plastic that feels sturdy enough to protect the AirPods.

• lid has extra magnets which keep AirPods from opening accidentally. Works perfectly.

• Despite having an open slot in the back, no dust or debris get into the case.

• Soft plastic material hasn’t gotten any visual imperfections from metal child or solvent. Color hasn’t faded either.

• The clip is easy to use, and very sturdy.

Things I don’t like:

• the magnet on the back is sized a bit awkwardly for MagSafe charging, AirPods get a bit hot but still charges fine.

• the magnets do occasionally catch metal chips, but they are easy to wipe off.

• a bit thick to just throw into my pocked when I am driving, I usually have to put in in a backpack if I drive anywhere unless I use the clip and wear it on my waist.

• rear button is hard to hold down. Even when pushing very hard, it takes a few tries to put the AirPods into pairing mode or reset them.

Overall:
For this price, get it!!! You can trust your AirPods won’t open up and get lost, won’t get damaged in a fall, and the case won’t come off or get visually damaged when used regularly in more taxing conditions!

If you want a case that offers good protection and keeps the lid closed securely then this is a great choice.

I’ve already had one drop with the case…waist high onto concrete and it just bounced around a bit and the lid stayed closed. The AirPods were fine and there was zero damage to the case. The thicker rubber material and lid magnets definitely served their purpose.

I had no issues with the fit. Everything lined up perfectly and it does have the speaker holes for the 2nd gen AirPod pros as well.

It is a bit thicker and heavier compared to typical silicone cases and the lid takes noticeably more effort to open with the extra magnets but that’s a good thing. The lid isn’t likely to accidentally pop open when tossed in a bag or from a typical drop. The harder rubber material doesn’t attract lint/dust like a silicone case either.

There are also magnets on the back for MagSafe charging. I haven’t tried it with a MagSafe charger myself but it still charges fine with my old qi charging pad. The magnets are also strong enough that I can stick the case to the side of my fridge although that’s obviously not the intent for them.

The case came with a few extra accessories…a narrow cleaning brush, an extra adhesive sticker for the lid, a case removal tool, and a carabiner style hook.

I don’t have any complaints. Overall this a great case for the money if you want something more protective and/or compatibility with MagSafe chargers.

I received this product today. I think it looks cool. It seems sturdy and likely to protect my AirPods from damage. The little cleaning tool brush that came with it and the belt loop latch were nice ads. I think the magnetic lock works well too. So far, it seems like a good product.
