I bought this mainly for the rib roast that i bought for Xmas dinner. This knife was like a magic wand that would cut through the meat super easy. I wish it was a little bit longer but it was still great. Exceeded expectations and was powerful enough. Cleaning was also really easy just be careful.

This is a great electric knife for carving turkey and anything else you want to cut effortlessly. I was so fed up with never having a knife shape enough to carve the turkey. After mangling the turkey at Thanksgiving I ordered this Hamilton Beach electric knife. I had to laugh because my mom had one when I was a kid. Well, forty years later here I am ordering one and you know what? They work great and they’re still around for a reason. Our Christmas turkey was carved so fast, perfect slices and it took literally no effort. Definitely money well spent.

Got this after the old, OLD one finally gave up the ghost. Cuts our homemade bread just fine. Allows smooth, thin slices, much nicer than our “manual” serrated bread knife which was never much better than using a hatchet.
It comes in a snazzy box, which is really nice if you’re willing to spend the time mashing the knife and cord into it. Every. Time. You. Use. It. There’s not a millimeter to spare.
The included fork? Worth exactly what you paid for it.

My primary reason for getting this was for the homemade bread that I make on a regular basis. It operates with 2 blades that you attach together and then insert into the device. The device is easy to hold and it slices through bread very quickly. It only needs minor pressure to cut and you let it do the rest. It stores back into its case after you take it apart. After several months of use it has been flawless and I also got it because I trust the brand. I would recommend.

I am very happy with the knife itself, but did they really have to make the case so ridiculously small? It’s a chore getting everything back in when you’re finished using it.

This electric knife has been on my must-haves list for a while now! So glad I purchased it in time for the holidays. I used it for turkey, and it worked perfectly! It’s light and easy to use, and it comes in a nice, durable case. You can also use it to cut (upholstery) foam.

This electric knife comes with its own case. A meat fork is included, also. The blades and electric part of it fit in the case. The case protects someone getting cut from accidently touching them. I purchased (a Karen on FB said ‘bought’ is no longer an acceptable word) it to cut my homemade bread in a bread slicing guide. I noticed the blades are a tiny bit shorter than the blades on my previous electric knife, so it sometimes catches on the slicing guide. There’s a trick to that, get the blades all the way through the top of the loaf of bread, then hold the blades straight across. I like it because I can slice bread so it looks like a bakery cut it.
I would definitely buy it again.

While this isn’t the equivalent of the restaurant grade electric carving knife it is super efficient and quite durable. This is my second purchase of this exact electric carving knife by Hamilton….my previous one died after a friend convinced me to use it to cut Styrofoam for a project I was working on..(dulled the blade and overworked the motor)…….I had the last one for over 10 years so hopefully the quality hasn’t changed since the original purchase of my first one. So far this one works great and is definitely going to be purchased again as I plan to give them as gifts for the younger generation of my family that weren’t familiar with electric carvers until the past holiday season when I awed them slicing the turkey and ham quickly and easily without tearing the meat up. Definitely would recommend.
