This laptop is short of amazing! I am a techy…been doing it for a living about 30 years. I’ve read the complaints about the “flimsy” case, but the aircraft grade graphite is plenty strong for me, and the weight…oh the weight, what more can I say other than it is a 14″ laptop that weighs just over 2 pounds? The LG Gram is a beast as configured, but still cheaper than the other guy with edge to edge display…and about over a pound lighter. It will charge via the USB-C port, and with a docking station, it becomes a great desktop replacement. Buy this one and know that you are holding something that looks like a designer model, but performs like a tank! Great screen, long battery, and fast!

Received this laptop yesterday, & sadly I just boxed up for return to Amazon, and cancelled the external monitor, additional chargers and usb/RJ45 adapter on order.
There’s a pink hue that runs along the left side of the display that fades in and out.
Spent time with LG tech support and couldn’t resolve: reinstalled graphics drivers(Intel & Nvidia), making sure all updates installed etc… all to no avail, so returning.
Have needed a light, powerful laptop w/ a lot of desktop space, so very disappointed.
I’d likely buy another one if I knew this was a defect in this particular unit and not systemic to the product line, e.g. thermal issue etc.
It seems intermittent (fades in & out over time), so not sure how I’d be convinced it was isolated to my particular unit.

This thing is light. I’m impressed at how light it is. I have been baying it and probably always will because I can’t imagine it’s got much reinforcement in there. But the weight+battery life in a gaming laptop is why I bought it, and it delivers.

Exceptional for all the devices. The keyboard is absolutely comfortable and all the keys respond without hesitation. Reliability of the brand is confirmed by my old LG 13Z940, still perfectly working after more than 5 years heavy usage.

i bought this LG gram for its light weight and its power. And i have not been disappointed. if people are looking for an entertainment laptop (for musical shows or movies watching or gaming) , this is probably not the most suitable. But a light, and powerful laptop for a traveler, this is it.
Also, an extended warranty from Beach camera surely helps.
Strongly recommended.
