I’ve been a K-cup kind of gal for many years but recently decided to try using a coffee maker. I wanted a small machine, but one that made enough for 2 extra large cups and one from a name that I could trust. Mr. Coffee is a well-known and loved brand and I gave this one a try. I couldn’t be happier. Perfect size. So easy to set up and get ready to brew the perfect pot of coffee. I don’t think I’ll ever go back. Really loving my morning coffee now. Thank you.

Got the white version for more visibility when cleaning. Love the 5cup compact size. Make sure to get the right Coffee Filter for this (2-5cup small). Do not buy the regular 10-12 cup filters. Also go easy when cleaning the pot as the glass is thin & the handle is not the sturdiest. I saw quite a few reviews from lefties complaining about the design of the lid because it opens from the right side instead of the traditional lid which opens upwards. I’m personally ambidextrous so I can definitely understand when I tried to use left hand to open the lid, pour the water, putting the filter and scooping the coffee in the filter. It’s a bit inconvenient but for right handers, it’s a clever design and simple to use. This little coffee maker is on the expensive side so it’s understandable for people nitpicking it. All in all, I would definitely recommend it especially when it’s on sale for around $50 Canadian Dollars.

Mr. Coffee never disappoints in making a good cup of coffee. It has a wide opening to pour your water and a quick brew. It never drips when you remove the carafe to pour a cup of coffee. It only has one little thing that annoys me. When I open the top to remove the cup where you put your coffee grounds to make cofffee, it begins to drip down to the base. This is something that my other Mr. Coffee had not done.
As I said, it’s just a little thing and I solved it by leaving the carafe on the base and letting the liquid flow into it and then removing it. No more mess.
All in all, I would definitely buy another Mr. Coffee if I needed one. Highly recommend it.

I am not a coffee connoisseur but do enjoy my morning mug. This coffee maker is the most basic and easiest to use that I have had. You’ll need paper filters but I found they make it much easier to clean as opposed to the mesh cups in other makers. There is nothing fancy about it – no automatic shut-off or preset timer. The only draw back for me is that I have been known to “drop” a glass carafe or two.

I’m a real big fan of a cup of coffee in my daily routine. Recently, I needed a coffee maker and I started to search on a few online marketplaces. I had one coffee maker but it went bad and didn’t work as well in a very short time of usage. So I decided that I shouldn’t spend much money on a coffee maker. My first criterion was the price and quality balance. For that reason I decided to read the reviews to see how people’s experiences were.
After all of my research, I found this product and I can say that I’m happy with my purchase.
First of all, I liked it immediately because it is a simple but effective machine. It doesn’t contain complex functions. I’m a one type dark roasted filter coffee lover and it works great for my personal needs. The other thing that influenced my decision to choose it is that thousands of people purchased it, in fact most of them loved it and left good comments. It also was shipped very quickly and came as promised. I also purchased an additional stainless steel filter case and it fits perfectly. The most important thing is how it can make coffee easily and tastefully that fast. I add some coffee and water, and yes it’s ready to drink in 2 minutes. It’s the best product that I’ve ever used compared to the price.
Despite all of its advantages, it is not a very high quality product and unfortunately it doesn’t seem to work well for a long time. Its material is cheap and doesn’t give the feeling that it’s long lasting. The other and I think the worst thing about this product is it doesn’t turn itself off after a while. If you forget to turn it off, it will continue to work even though the coffee evaporates completely. It’s quite annoying and dangerous, if you decide to purchase it you should have to be careful!
However it has some disadvantages, I still recommend those who need something simple and cheap. Imagine, Its price is as low as $25! But don’t set your expectations too high!

This is the best little coffee maker I have ever had, so cute and practical and the perfect fit for my small kitchen. I only make coffee for myself so it is the perfect size for that, but it has a capacity for 25 ounces so if anybody else in my house wants some or if I have company I can make enough for three or four more people. It works perfectly, coffee is easy to make so it is just the water and the coffee each in its space, connect it, turn it on and wait a few minutes and you have your coffee ready.

I’ve been using it for a year, every morning and it’s still going strong. It’s smaller than I wanted but still gets the job done. My coffee cup is very large one cup for me takes half the entire pot (up to line 3) but if it was just me drinking an entire pot, I could easily get just shy of two full cups out of it. It’s a little hard to clean the area around where the basket for the filter/coffee goes but other than that it cleans up really easily everywhere else and the pot itself is pretty sturdy for being a small glass pot.

I bought this coffee maker to replace an old Mr. Coffee drip coffee maker that had outlived its useful life. This is basically an upgraded model from the old one, and is good quality for the price. It is simple to use and makes good coffee.
The only flaw, which is a minor one, is that the pouring spout on the carafe is a bit wide, so when I poured my first cup, it flowed over the sides and all over my counter. Thus, I recommend pouring the coffee slowly and close to the mug.
The instructions are basically nonexistent, as the small pamphlet that comes in the box contains little useful information. However, you don’t really need instructions – it’s easy to use.
Finally, I do recommend before using that you wash the carafe and the filter basket with soap and water, and then run two cycles of just water to clean it out.

In general I like Mr. Coffees. I ordered this one to replace my old one. If I had realized how extremely right-handed the new design was, I would have ordered a different product. The top opens to the left (instead of to the back like my old one), and in order to fill the water reservoir I have to either fill it right-handed or turn the unit completely around to use my left hand to pour. Similar but not as extreme an issue for the coffee grounds. The designers did not at all take into account that 10 to 12% of the population is left-handed. They could have easily kept their old design that didn’t favor either direction.
