So the closest competing product to this mic and what I think it is supposed to trade blows with is the HyperX Solo cast and I will say owning both now… they are one and the same more or less. After testing this mic against my Solo cast mic, I found the sound to be very similar and to the point where I forgot which recording went to which mic. The specs of this mic are identical to the other and shows it. The only big differences between the two are the construction and materials. The Siren Mini, I would say, is a big more simple in the design. As in the Siren, here only has a simple screw on base, which works just fine and is great. It has a little movement in the direction you want the mic to lean towards, but that is about it compared to the Solo cast that has a much more elaborate stand. If you are going to use a mic arm regardless, then the stand it comes with doesn’t really matter because again they perform practically the same. If you use the included stand just know that it does lack just a bit behind the Solo cast counterpart but other than that this Razer Siren Mini is a great solid mic for the price!

This is an exceptional microphone that delivers audio quality, ease of use, and portability at a cost that’s hard to beat. This microphone comes with a USB-C cable, the mount, quick start guide, stickers, and a stand. The microphone is very small, and is no bigger than the palm of my hand. It is easy to attach to the base in less than a minute and the cable fits securely into place. The stand can also pivot the microphone more forward or back depending on where you place it.

Once connected to your PC, you will need the Razer Synapse software to get full functionality out of the microphone, as here you will be able to make all the adjustments to the digital gain in addition to changing the sampling rate of the audio.

In terms of overall audio quality, this compact microphone packs a serious punch. The microphone doesn’t have the best “clarity” in the smaller details of your voice when you’re leaning back or far from the microphone, but once it gets directly in front of your face, the audio clarity is nearly perfect. My voice sounds clear, focused and detailed when using this with the included stand as long as it is within a few inches from my face. My voice does have some shallow notes on the lower end, and some extra sharpness on the mid to high end that may be annoying to some. However, the overall audio quality is equal to or better than the famous Blue Yeti, for example, and is nearly as good as my Rode PodMic USB except just with that extra bit of sharpness and shallow lows. So, it may not be the best audio you can get, but it’s the best for the value by far.

Overall, this is an exceptionally easy mic to use that will allow any creator to get started with streaming, recording, doing voice overs, and more. It really is that good, and it has shocked me to see something so incredible come in such a small package. I highly recommend it!

Razer has always been a very good brand in the gaming industry, I’ve used their keyboard, headsets, and gaming accessories over time, and Razer never let me down. This little gaming/streaming mic came across, thought to give it a try. I’m not a streamer but just a casual gamer, so this won’t be a professional review. I’ve always used my headset’s mic to chat with my friends through Discord, never had an external mic. First of all, because this is the Mini version, so it’s a very compact design, and it won’t take up a lot of space on your desk. This is very good for who has really small gaming desk. Second of all, the mic feels really high quality from the touch. It has little bit of weight gives you a high end feel. Third, it has limited movable stand that you can move the mic towards you. Then it’s sound quality. I’ve using my headset mic which is the Corsair HS90, it comes with the Nvidia broadcast software that can tweak your voice little bit more. And it’s the best mic among all the gaming headsets in my opinion. I compared both my gaming headset mic and this little razer mic, they both sound very good, and it won’t crack your voice when you yell or scream to the mic. Both mic has noise cancellation, so Razer does really good job to just pick up your voice instead of picking up everything around you. The only different I’ve notice is that my headset mic sounds more like I’m in a small room, gives you a cozy feel, the Razer mic sounds just like a normal mic and sounds little bit far(I’ve tried to talk to the mic very close to my mouth). Because such a compact design, it’s very short, so when your at your position while you gaming, you might facing the mic is bit too far from you. if you have a like mic clamp that holds the mic around your mouth area, it will helps a lot to pick your voice much more clearly. Overall, it’s very quality mic and will fulfill your streaming, gaming and stuff, I will recommend that you get yourself a Mic stand or clamps that will hold your mic close to you and get a better experience.

I am a casual gamer, often on calls on Discord, Teams and Slack, and I needed a new desktop mic for times when I don’t want to wear a headset, so I decided to give the Razer Seiren V3 Mini a shot. And I’m happy that I did. It looks great (always a plus), sounds really good, and has a pretty small footprint. The quality of the build seems pretty high as well, which I have found generally true or all Razer products. The mic has held up to a number of gaming sessions and calls and everyone says the mic sounds great.

    Very happy with this microphone!
