Since it’s a consumable there isn’t much to be said, the warning on the printer went away immediately, working fine now.
Just in case I emailed Ricoh to make sure of the part number, they promptly answered.

Arrived quickly and has been working great. Apparently some GX7000 machines require THIS ink collector unit and not the ones advertised for the GX7000. I’ll definitely order again when I need another replacement.
