After several other brands I settled on this unit for a couple reasons, one it matched the brand of my TV, value and sound quality was perfect for the room I am using it in since I am in a townhome and respect my shared wall. Setup was easy, not sure if optic cord is better worse than HDMI Arc or bluetooth but now that it up and running I love the unit. Not sure why my tv remote won’t change the sound but not that concerned since the sound is so good for the money I spent. Very happy w my purchase

I’m very surprised by the quality of this sound bar and sub for the price. It sounds as good as bigger Bose systems. Fills the whole room with deep full range sound. Works seamlessly with my Samsung TV and also works as a bluetooth player with a phone. Super happy with this purchase over more expensive units!

I have been using this sound system for a few days now. Its very easy to set up and install. The only problem I have with this system is I can’t figure out how to adjust the treble to sound like I like it. Maybe it doesn’t have terrific treble, I don’t know. The bass on it is great, a little overwhelming sometimes but I keep that adjusted down. I just wish the treble and the “speaking” volume was a little more unmuted.

This soundbar is great for a big flat screen and covers a huge room with excellent sound. The Remote is a little hard to get use to and the volume control is cumbersome. When you try to turn it down it goes to mute first. Other than that, I really like this product.

Hey, what’s up? Ready to get totally blown out of your TV room with this set up!?!? Ugh… no, that’s not actually going to happen, sorry. We’ll call this the subdued system… lol. Check out my video also showcasing this Samsung sound bar, subwoofer and rear speaker set up (HW – B550/ZA and SWA – 9200S respectively).
This is a wonderful, cost-effective and compact surround-sound system for a very small area. Important: The rear speakers should really not be more than 2 1/2 to 3 feet behind your sitting area, because they are low powered. If you need rear speakers further away, you will definitely want to invest in a higher-powered system. Some reviewers mention concerns about there being a speaker wire for the rear speakers, despite them being called wireless. The purpose of that one wire is to send signal from the rear-right speaker to the rear-left speaker. The intended designation for the word “wireless” is that there is no need for a signal wire to run from the soundbar to the rear speakers. Honestly, I don’t mind it at all for our set up. It is no big deal.
This was such a great present for my mom. It’s small, and all the power and speaker wires are completely hidden/out of the way. Prior to installing this system it really was unbelievably loud throughout the whole house— typical senior-citizen, hard-of-hearing behavior, because she turned the TV up almost to maximum. Now, all is good in the world. Sanity has been restored, thanks to Samsung— my brand preference!!

I bought and returned 2 other sound bars before this one. I like well balanced sound and especially understandable voice when watching movies and shows. This system has good bass. The display is kind of small and hard to read since it has to scroll the text slowly, but that’s a minor inconvenience. I like the feel, simplicity, and features of the remote.

Added this to a Samsung QN65QN90C TV and at first, the sound was dropping out every few seconds and being jittery. This was through the optical cable and streaming something off Amazon Prime. I am not exactly sure what fixed it but I messed with it for a couple hours then magically it started working. I powered off things, reset stuff, put the TV on a different wireless network, and changed the soundbar’s channel. I also then connected my blue-ray player to try to test sound on that. I noticed on the TV the started showing “Soundbar C4-series” instead of just “Receiver” like it did before. Things seemed to be sorted out after that.
Sound is awesome and has deep, thumping bass. I love that I can use bluetooth on my phone to connect to the soundbar to play my Amazon Music.
I do wish the controls were more clear, the display on the soundbar is difficult to read at a distance.

I have a Samsung TV so the link up is easy and the sub connected with no effort it took a minute to find the settings for ‘center’ and bass/treble as well as the modes but once I got it into Dolby Digital the sound grew full with plenty of bass response at lvl 5 so about half way. Forever I have had a multi speaker surround setup and was looking for something more compact that I could quickly dial in different modes when switching between gaming, movies, NBA games and I am finding this bar/sub combo does a solid job especially at the price point. The remote is pretty basic and it does not have true center but overall nice clarity and separation that offers good headroom for a pretty natural representation. Definitely plenty of volume I have it in a large room with seating for 8 usually play regular TV set it around 12-25 depending on the content and with this bar I am finding 10 to be good for watching regular TV and gaming anything over 15-18 is very loud. Give this a 5 star I have heard a lot of more expensive setups that did not sound any better
