Sennheiser did it several times before and now they’ve done it again: they released earbuds that will be talked about in reviews, ratings, best of the year summaries, etc. etc. because they hit the sweet spot on the scale of audio tuning. It’s not so easy to nail the sound signature that will keep a lot of people happy but with Sennheiser’s experience it must be easier at this point than it would be for other manufacturers. They simply really DO know what they are doing. This is carefully mastered sound signature that, still, is able to maintain rich, strong, beautiful bass (and that’s without overlapping and taking away from other frequencies), very good, present mids and solid treble that extends just as far as it needs to so your music has a lot of flavor while maintaining great balance.
Then come the ergonomics: I do prefer stem earbuds. I think they sit in peeople’s ears better overall, remain in place, require less adjustment and are easier to profile for the masses. So I don’t know if I am lucky to have very average ears or I am just lucky with this set but the Momentum 4 fit my ears VERY WELL. I have no discomfort of any kind and during the first, about an hour long listening session I had to adjust them maybe twice.
The looks: absolutely awesome, including the case. It is wrapped in a material that immediately communicates a higher end product. I am not sure how well it is going to hold up over time as I have a feeling it might be prone to catching dirt more than other earbud cases (especially the light grey one that I got) but… I don’t really care about that right now. The first impression is awesome. Just awesome.
Connectivity: I heard other people complain but in my own experience I have ZERO issues with iPhone 13 Pro. It’s been a week+ now and I have yet to experience a problem.
ANC: while it doesn’t leave me speechless, it is comparable to many other brands. It does a good job cancelling regular level conversation in a room and airplane noise. Do remember ANC depends a lot on the proper fit of your earbuds so don’t wait and do perform the fit test the app offers.
App support: great, it comes with a very good EQ that you can play with to fine tune your Momentum 4.
What I also absolutely love is the fluid Transparency level you can set. This is an awesome feature, very useful in situations where you need to hear your surroundings but still would prefer to somehow limit what comes into your ears (like for example people speaking TOO LOUD).
Overall I feel like these are well worth the money. 5 stars rating comes easy!

I actually already reviewed this product but I needed to update my review because Amazon and Sennheiser have solved so many of the issues I had.
Quick overview of previous issues:
Pixel 8 Pro pairing issues.
Windows 11 pairing issues.
Left earbud “Chirping Noise” issue.
Sennheiser has fixed all of these problems in their latest Firmware update (5.6.1)
I appreciate the time and effort they put into fixing these issues.
Back to the device review:
The case feels nice in the hand with the fabric cover.
Sound is a high point for this device and I like how much tuning can be achieved in the app.
Noise cancellation is good, though not a strong feeling. Which is good if you do not like that pressure feeling.
Transparency mode is great for hearing your surroundings, but hearing yourself talk to other people is the poor side of that mode. It’s distracting to hear everything so clearly around you, but your own voice sounds like when normal ear plugs are used. (though slightly better than actually using ear plugs.)
If it’s windy I recommend using transparency mode or no mode at all. For me using the normal noise canceling mode with wind is very distracting. (what if they put little fluff wind covers over the microphones?)
Battery life has been great.
The app experience is very good and has a good amount of customization. (I go over many of the features in my video).
Worst parts about the device for me:
1. The microphones are not that good at capturing noise from your mouth. I always sound very distant.
2. The wings on the earbuds are not very comfortable for more than about 15 min. I think they needed to be softer or more squishy. I like the multiple sizes, but they “dig” into parts of my ear.
Important things that still need to be addressed:
1. Randomly when taking the earbuds out of the case, the right ear buds will refuse to use noise canceling mode or transparency mode in conjunction with the left earbud. So the left will be in transparency mode, while the right is just in normal off mode. This feels weird and is unpleasant.
2. Random electrical noises coming from the right earbud. Beeping or chirping.
3. When using them with my windows computer as a microphone. I can’t activate transparency mode or noise canceling mode. Why?
Overall this is a feature rich product with a great mobile application, and Sennheiser is showing that they are interested in fixing the issues. I look forward to future firmware updates, and maybe a redesign for the earbud wings.

Saw that Sennheiser has a new True Wireless Momentum buds so got a pair. I’ve had great experience with their HD600 so I have high hopes in the sound quality.
The sound signature of these are great. I think it’s probably one of the better ones I’ve listened to (my other favorites are AKG N400C TWS and UE Fit). The fit is nice (I used a smaller tip from the selection it came with).
My cons though, will be that the connection sometimes drops in/out. I’ve updated the firmware to latest, but it still happens once in a while. The mic also has room for improvement. When I’m in a quiet room, people on the other end can hear me fine. However, if the surrounding noise (or wind noise) is louder, the mic picks those up too and muffled my voice. It was so bad one time that I had to pull out my phone from my pocket and switch the audio to the phone instead.
I’m still keeping these for the sound quality for regular listening. However, if I need to use the mic, I’m still going to put on my beats fit pro, as the mic works great and I am in apple ecosystem.

The future is here… these earbuds are a game changer. Three dimensional sound and complete ANC silence. I can’t believe how good these are. I’m shocked honestly. I must show all my friends, this is like stupid crazy good. The sound is so pure and magical it just blows me away. I’ve listened to $40,000 headphone set ups and honestly, these are bridging the line for $300. Wireless is future, we must invest and support the future of technology. As much as I am a hardcore audiophile, I have to support the future. These are also very good looking earbuds that come in a nice charging case. Very pleased with them and an incredible value for the sound you get.
