The battery dies too quickly, but it’s an attractive calculator. Keeping it in an drawer isn’t much of an option, since it seems like it needs a few minutes of strong light to “recharge” to a usable state. If you keep it on your desk, it will probably get enough incidental light that it will stay charged.

Thought I was buying a full size calculator as the product description stated it was 4.5″ x 7″ x .6″ and weighed a pound while maybe the cardboard card the calculator was attached to may have been 4.5 x 7 the actual calculator was 2.5″ x 4 1/4″ and weighed 3 or 4 oz at best.

Like many things in life, stuff and people and movie stars can be taller or bigger or smaller than you imagined. This Sharp calculator is nicely made and works very well. It is, however, smaller than I thought it would be. Really not a problem …..and unless you have reeeeeeeallly fat fingers….it shouldn’t be a problem for you. (Fits perfectly in the shirt pocket.) With that said (I hate that expression), you will be pleased with this purchase.

Has to be in a very very very bright room and facing the perfect angle or it looses power and resets your calculations. If you tilt it towards you it flashes off.
