Rip off and doesn’t work. 1) Had to spend hours getting gift certificate, program does NOT WORK. After following the process returning two empty cylinders well in time, NOTHING HAPPENED, even after registering the order on the website, no gift certificate was ever sent. The chatbot is insanely frustrating, finally emailed and FINALLY got a credit after more than a month had passed.
2) The gift certificate is ONLY $7.50 per cylinder! not $15 as the listing can be interpreted. Bed Bath and Beyond and Sodastream directly charge $30, and then you get $15 back PER CYLINDER. Not like this situation works. Here, you pay $65 for TWO, and only get $15 back (once they respond to angry emails) meaning you pay $25 per cylinder. Which is more than $10 more per cylinder then you would pay if you used the Bed Bath and Beyond, OR the DIRECT program with Soda Stream ordering four at a time and getting the full $15/cylinder.
I rarely if ever write any reviews, but this is borderline scam, done under the Amazon and Sodastream banners, and its a TOTAL RIPOFF that didn’t even work properly.

I have an older model soda stream that wasn’t working. Turns out it was just my CO2. They were a perfect fit. They mail them to you in a box that you can send your old C02 cartridges back postage-free.

Love my SodaStream, but recently learned that there are different models, and that each model has a different type of carbonator.
Make sure you know whether you need the threaded or unthreaded one!
When you purchase the correct CO2 canister, it works fabulously, and this fizzy water is 99% responsible for me quitting sugary sodas.
