Verbatim has always been top notch and continues to be. Some older game systems like Turbo Duo and Sega CD seem to work better when you burn the disc slower, and while these disc can burn at 52x , I had no problems doing a slower burn at 4x. Most other brands wont go under 10x.
These discs also worked great in a factory Audi head unit for music!

The sound recorded (up to nearly 80 minutes) is excellent, though I had one disc in the stack (so far) that would not record and which I had to discard. The only downside to these discs is that the reverse side (e.g., the side not recorded upon) has a rough texture that makes it difficult to write anything with a fine Sharpie pen; blunter ones write easily, but the material seems to rub off onto fine felt tips and clog them. Annoying, but surmountable.

I am half way through the stack burning .wav to audio disc to evaluate a mastering project I am working on. Not one failed to burn or playback yet. I am using powerISO software and a Sony BD BWU-500S hardware to burn on a Win 10 OS. Disc burns 4 songs in 15 seconds. Doesn’t get much better than that.
