Back on July 2023 I purchased a brand new Samung Refigerator model RF28R6201SR. I noticed with the original Samsung filter, that after many hour without disposing water, especially during the mornings when the very first glass of water was served, the initial water used to taste bad, like a plastic and sour taste. I always had to dispose the first glass of water every morning to get good tasting water. My father told me about this and at the same time you get like 3 filters for less of the price of a single Samgung original one.
After with just 3 months of use and without the need of replacing the original Samung one I decided to give it a shot. It is 100% compatible with my new refrigerator and the water tastes GREAT always. The next morning after waking up, the first think I did was to serve a little amount of water in a glass to check the taste. For my surprise the taste was great, and this really made me so happy. No need to throw away the first glass of water anymore. This is perfect: 3 filters, great price, good tasting water always. Going to buy this one for the rest of my new refrigerator’s lifetime. It’s installed and working. I’m still trying to decide if i like the flavor better or not, but it does taste slightly different, but not bad different. Doesn’t taste like @#%$ like Dasani. Not as good as Aquapana, but great for coffee and Koolaid.

The water is clear(after getting all the air out of the line) and tastes fine. It’s not leaking

It works well enough to make you not buy an OEM filter. It fits just well enough not to leak, It didn’t feel as snug as the OEM, but that one was filled with water when i removed it. But the fit appears to be slightly off.
Overall, if you want to save some $$$ buy it, got 3 for the price of 1 OEM filter.
