This laptop is beautiful & quick. So glad that I returned the hp laptop I bought for $350 to get this. This one feels as nice as the MacBook Air that I have. Very functional in a high end way so I’m happy!

I love this chromebook. It is exactly what I wanted. I love how light and portable it is. I love the option of keyboard and touchscreen. The screen quality is amazing with the colors so crisp and clear. I would highly recommend this to anyone considering ordering it.

Item arrived a day early (woo!). Very minor scuffs on the bottom (which honestly might just be smudges, I haven’t tried that hard to rub them out). No damage to the top, screen, or keyboard. No dead pixels; screen is very crisp. Easy to setup, minimal crapware to remove. Initially came with Windows 10 S, but the conversion to 10 Pro was free and easy. Sound is… fine? It’s a laptop. Sound exists and isn’t rattly or overly tinny. Keyboard is small (it’s an 11 inch laptop after all) but wasn’t uncomfortable for my giant hands to type on. Remarkably thin and light, and the metal exterior has a nice, professional look to it. So far, not the quickest computer I’ve ever used, but for light internet use performance seems like it won’t be a hindrance.

I wish I could review actual product. I received the chromebook on November 17, 2021. I used it a few times and it never left my kitchen table. On November 21, 2021, it stopped working. The screen went black and it would not charge or start up.
I contacted customer support and was walked through several attempts to reboot the computer. Acer sent me a prepaid FedEx label to send the device back. It took almost a week to ship via FedEx. The company is now currently “repairing” the device and they “aim to repair it within 10 business days”. I guess I have to figure another week for shipping so maybe I will get it before Christmas, if all goes well.
So I have paid in full for a brand new computer that will be returned to me REPAIRED (best case scenario); I had to buy boxing and packing materials because they will not return the original box (which it fit perfectly in and contains all of the computer information). I was instructed to wrap it in 3-5 inches of bubble wrap or it would not be accepted. Worst of all I will be weeks without a personal chromebook that I have paid for. And after paying for a brand new computer, it will come back to me repaired.
Very disappointed. Will not purchase from Acer again.
Update: my chromebook was returned on December 10. Today, December 18 it again stopped working after being glitchy and freezing for a couple of days. I contacted customer support with my case number and was told that they would initiate another repair. I asked to speak to a manager because I did not want a second repair to this chromebook. I have to wait until 8:30-4:30 CST on Monday to initiate a conversation. Unreal.

I’ve had several chrome books and wanted a new one that was a higher mid range model. This one has great reviews. It is quick and does everything I need on a Chromebook. I have one complaint which is why I gave it four stars instead of five. I do not like the quality of the keyboard. The keys feel really loose and rattley when you tight. To me, having a great feeling keyboard is one of the keys to a good experience with a computer. This may not be an issue for you though. Had I known this I would’ve gotten a different Chromebook.

This version is excellent for perusing the internet and streaming…for gaming adding more ram and storage is a must. Artists can grab a stylist and have at it. Very light and portable,, great in laptop or tablet modes. Chrome OS is getting stronger everyday with constant updates!

I bought this Chromebook to replace my old Chromebook, which was losing OS support in June. I looked for quite a while and finally settled on this one. So far, I am very pleased. The screen is bright and crisp, and the functions are quick and reliable. Although it actually looks slightly eschew, the keyboard works very well, especially compared with my old Chromebook, where the keyboard drove me crazy from day one. This one lacks a few of the gee-whiz bells and whistles that many customers look for, but I find it to be a solid, reliable workhorse for my purposes. I like that Chromebooks are constantly updating themselves, and how secure they are. On the other hand, they aren’t nearly as versatile as Apple computers (I personally consider PCs to be worthless security risks), and I would only choose to use GoogleDocs as a last resort. I think I made a good choice.
