If you thought you were going to power your new floodlight camera this way, think again. The Blink floodlight requires 4 D cell batteries and plugs into the camera to facilitate triggering of the lights during motion detection events, but has no USB port of its own, meaning you can’t even use this to power the camera attached to the floodlight.

It doesn’t power up my blink mini cam. Seems like a bad quality control? I cannot believe such a simple product can go wrong….

I really like the durable design of the whole system. I’m using the cameras and these cables in my horse barn.

This design is strange. Some people may be able to screw the mount into the wall near the outlet, but many home exteriors are brick or siding where drilling into the wall isn’t the best idea. When the mount isn’t screwed to the wall it makes it harder to route the cable. I returned the camera because this design wouldn’t work for my application. There are cheaper substitutes available with arguably better designs.
