I bought this for a docking station and it worked really well. Cable seems to be made of quality components and I am very happy with the purchase. I would recommend these cables to anyone that is wondering which brand to buy. I have always been happy with them.

I’m very proud of my diy desk office space that I made mostly myself for around $60; not only because most of it was free but because I made some of these things myself. The desktop was a free door from Facebook. I stained and applied poly to finish it. The monitor stand is scrap wood that I had on hand. It’s a very simple and useful way to hide my keyboard when I need more space. Anyways — this review is about a cable not my office.
The cable works great with the *free* 2011 27” iMac that I upgraded (the graphics card it’s a thing) and the *free* 22” LED monitor that someone didn’t want anymore. The only thing pictured that I paid for is the cable. It plugs into one of the iMac display ports and the other into the hdmi on the monitor. (You can see I made my own stand out of scrap wood)
And yes it’s an iMac but I run windows 10. That’s just how I roll. I put in an SSD but didn’t bother installing OSX because I really don’t use it.
To conclude, I like this cable because it was reasonably priced and it works. Thank you for letting me talk about my office.

Firstly, I avoided using these for my VR headset, as it was know to have serious issues using displayports instead of HDMI. I bought this cable with the sole intent of testing a barebone HP Elitedesk 800 G3 mini computers VR capability. It was obviously buggy, due to running on such underpowered hardware, but it ran. The quality also seemed to be the same as HDMI, if not better, which has led me to question where I first heard of the Display port problems… it feels high quality and appears durable enough for the bends of the cable when attached to the linkbox.

Great cable… made well and works great; but only in one direction. Goes from Mini Display (Thunderbolt) to HDMI; but does work in the opposite direction. Won’t work from HDMI to Mini Display (Thunderbolt).
