Original Breville water filers, easy to replace and enough for 1 year

Chances are you’re going to be using these filters in an espresso machine, in which case I would wholeheartedly recommend them. I don’t claim that they make any sort of difference as far as the taste of the espresso is concerned. However, I think that they can extend the life of your espresso machine and reduce the frequency of descaling. These filters are completely optional; your machine is designed to work perfectly without any sort of water filtering. However, I’ve found that using water filters and changing them every 2 months means that I almost never have to descale my espresso machine. It’s good to descale your machine when it needs it, but it’s even better not to let scale take hold in the first place! Because one package of filters will last you a full year, I think they are a great value. More power to you if you believe that they make the coffee taste better!

The filters fit properly and they don’t give off loose carbon. They are pricey, but given the problems that have been noted in reviews of other similar products these are worth at least a portion of the higher price.

I ordered these off Amazon after I discovered they were no longer available / on backorder from the Breville site directly. These were even a couple dollars less expensive (and with free shipping) from what I’ve previously paid when ordering directly from Breville. So glad Amazon had these available!

It came as expected and works great for the Breville Express Barista.
For installation make sure to follow the manual guides. Other than that you should be fine. Normally, the price is the same as the Breville page but always check before purchasing to see any special offer.
