So, I was using a Corsair K100 before I bought this keyboard. I have always thought “Whats the big deal…?” Today I found out. I honestly had buyers remorse over this purchase… but man, a GOOD keyboard made correctly with sound dampening, lubricated switches FEEEEELS and SOUNDS so satisfying. This is apparently Corsairs first foray into what qualifies by keyboard enthusists as a proper keyboard, and after the reviews, I get it. I am never going back.

It`s a great mechanical keyboard only the Windows key doesn’t work. The rest of the keyboard was ok the typing experience is good and it sounds good and relaxing.

I recently got my hands on the Corsair K65 Plus wireless keyboard, and let me tell you, it’s a game-changer! Whether you’re deep into gaming sessions or grinding through office work, this keyboard has got you covered.

One of the first things that caught my attention was the feel of the keys. They strike the perfect balance between tactile feedback and comfort. Typing feels incredibly smooth and satisfying, and the keys are not overly loud, which is a huge plus for late-night gaming or working sessions when you don’t want to disturb others.

What’s impressive is its versatility. It transitions seamlessly from intense gaming moments to tackling spreadsheets and emails with ease. The responsive keys ensure that every keystroke registers accurately, whether you’re executing complex combos in-game or typing up a report.

The wireless functionality is another standout feature. It provides the freedom to move around without being tethered to your desk, which is especially convenient for those who prefer a clutter-free setup. Plus, the battery life is impressive, so you can go hours without needing to recharge.

In terms of design, the Corsair K65 Plus nails it. It has a sleek and minimalist look that adds a touch of sophistication to any setup. The compact size is also a bonus, saving valuable desk space without compromising on functionality.

Overall, I can’t recommend the Corsair K65 Plus wireless keyboard enough. Whether you’re a hardcore gamer or a productivity enthusiast, this keyboard ticks all the boxes. With its comfortable typing experience, versatile functionality, and stylish design, it’s truly a winner in my book.

Yeah it’s a 75% keyboard, but a very good product overall from Corsair, you have everything you need in a custum keyboard, like hotswap keycaps, switches, keys rebind and some really nice rgb. The wireless dongle has never let me down and battery lasts for long, the only sad thing it’s that I’ve ordered this product here on amazon.de because i could not purchase it in my country (Italy).

This arrives in a beautiful box and packaged very well.

The keyboard itself is really nice. It is a great size for having the extra room to freely move around your mouse. It feels very durable to me. Playing games or surfing the web in wired or wireless mode worked without problems, and pretty much lag free. The braided cable Corsair includes is of excellent quality.

Now I said this keyboard was not perfect and it isn’t. I will try to explain this by listing what I liked and what I didn’t like. Despite it not being perfect, my likes outweigh my dislikes and I did not take off any stars. If I had taken off any stars, and I almost did, it would have been just one.

    Likes:

    1) Great layout, size, design, feel, everything.
    2) Volume knob is great. Very solid feel.
    3) Switches feel fantastic and are amazingly quiet. I mean these are membrane quiet. I think this is partly because of the extra sound dampening Corsair used.
    4) Hot swappable, but I would never do it as I love the switches in it.
    5) Height adjustable, and the bottom of the keyboard looks as nice as the top, even tho you will never see it.
    6) PBT key caps feel great and stay clean, but these key caps are also something I do not like.
    7) The rgb looks very nice, and I like the rainbow wave the best.
    8) It works well just plug and play, but iCUE software is needed for full functionality.

    Things I don’t like:

    1) On the PBT key caps the letters and numbers are not illuminated. It still looks nice but it makes it very difficult for me to see to type or game. I will have to get another set of key caps that illuminate completely. This is extra cost and this keyboard is not cheap to begin with. I have no idea why Corsair made this decision.
    2) Does not support Corsair’s “Slipstream”. Not a huge deal for me as I had no problems otherwise, just something to keep in mind.

So there it is. It is a great keyboard, as are all the keyboards I have had experience with from Corsair. I am mainly disappointed about the not fully illuminated key caps and the extra $20 or so dollars I must spend to get the ones I want, bringing the cost of this keyboard to around $180 dollars. That is a lot of money, and something you must consider if your thinking of making a purchase.

Bought the keyboard because i wanted to match all my corsair lighting in my pc to the keyboard like my other but instead with a smaller keyboard like this. Seem videos of it and the sound in videos was not worth the price. I bought it and i can say that in person the keyboard actually sounds really nice and creamy. The switches feel so nice and the keycaps are smooth. Only problem for me so far is that the keyboard can’t match the intricate lighting of the other corsair products. The only custom lighting i can put is a static color or it has to be rainbow. I assume they will add more lighting options later on though.

The media could not be loaded.

First of all the feel of this keyboard is great. I even prefer it to my gmmk pro. It has a nice weight to it, and feels quality. I switched out my keycapes to aura or pudding style, to maximize the rgb. Speaking of rgb, I was able to get the wireless rgb profiles to work, after installing the latest updates to the icue software. Not being slipstream wireless was a minor disappointment, that I can certainly live with. This is my new favorite keyboard.

I’ve been a Corsair fan for years, and, at this point, all of my PC peripherals are part of the Corsair iCue ecosystem. I’ve been waiting for the right keyboard to replace my trust K70, and this hit every requirement I had.

This keyboard is hefty, solid, quiet, and very well thought out. It was immediately recognized by iCue, I set my preferred color scheme, and I absolutely love it.

If you are like me, you like the Corsair ecosystem, like the iCue software, want a premium “custom” keyboard without spending hours building a keyboard, and don’t mind a higher price over comparable models (like everything else Corsair), this is the keyboard for you.

I don’t have an ounce of buyers remorse, and neither will you. Stop thinking, buy it.
