I was really excited for this product. Then it won’t even turn on. It shows the message – hard drive not found. See pic attached dkr reference.this is supposed to be a 2 TB hard drive.
In short, first time turning it on, it had the blue screen with error hard disk not installed. And then starting beeping with really loud alarms
I was able to get past it by resetting the PC.
However, after restarting the PC , the log in screen simply would not turn on.
I spent 2 hrs setting up all my personal info on it. 2 hrs trying to problem solve. Another one hour talking to Dell.
During conversation with Dell, it started beeping alarm and also says hard disk not installed again.
At this point, I just want to wipe the PC clean and return it. But the PC is not allowing that even bases on Dell customer support.
They asked me to buy a 16 gb flash drive to force the wiping of the files of the PC.
I am just waiting for my flash drive to be delivered for now.
So far, I spent money buying this product.
$8 to hold it at UPS store
At least 5 hours trying to get it working
Then another $10 to get another flash drive..
I will probably spend another hour wiping it clean and another 30 minutes drop off at UPS. Then it became even worse…
Complete waste of my time.
The touch screen was not that sensitive. It didn’t register my finger a few times.
Very disappointing experience especially after it took a week for the order to arrive !

It was very shocking to see that this new Dell Inspiron 14 laptop’s battery is gone bad in about just one week of use. How such a product is put up for sale baffles me. It was a height of disappointment. The seller and Amazon must as a matter of urgency replace this for me.

From day 1 this laptop got BSOD. Dell support says it’s a software issue but nothing has resolved the problem. They refuse to do anything so I’m out $1,000. I’ll never buy a Dell product again. Stay away.

This is the second one of these we’ve bought since we like the first one so much. I picked it because of the multiple charging USB-C ports, so I can use it with the docking station and dual screens that I have for my work computer. It is a well made, quick laptop with great features that compares well to examples that are much more expensive. For $700 this is a great deal in my opinion.

Have had this laptop for a year now and I’ve kept it in a protective carrying case the ENTIRE time. I probably took it out of the case less than 10 times over the past year. I’ve used it gently, never dropped it, no physical damage to the laptop was ever sustained, but BOTH hinges have broken within the past month. Warranty was useless and a laptop is pretty pointless if I can’t open and close it.
