I bought this one from Dell directly. I have a problem that I cannot start my computer after push the on/off key. Just nothing happens if I push. I searched online and find this is a common problem of Dell. Dell gave the solution to disconnect the battery, push and hold the on/off key for 15 seconds. Though this solve the problem. I do not think it is a good solution because I need to use screwdriver to open the cover for my model. This is a design problem and Dell should fix it. No end user is suppose to use screwdriver when they use a laptop.

Viene con teclado retroiluminado, sensor de huella digital. Tal como lo dice el detalle del producto. Sin embargo, sería estupendo encontrarla en versión táctil.

I am enjoying my laptop. I needed a new one badly and this was the answer. I am enjoying the speed, ease of use, and so much more to learn and explore.

Plugged it in. Turned it on. Says it doesn’t recognize the adaptor it came with. Tried other outlets around the house, same message. Must have had just enough power in the battery to get started, but after just 5 minutes the fan came on and it was HOT on the back – not a good sign. Let it cool off and tried again. Managed to get on for about an hour and complete my set-up, when it gave a message that battery was only at 2% (it had been plugged in that whole time!). Decided to turn it off and let it charge overnight. This morning, nothing. No power, won’t turn on, light comes on the power adapter block, but nothing happening on the laptop. Called Customer Support. Nice gentleman had me try hard booting it (holding down the Power button for 30 seconds), nothing happened. Then he said to hold down M key and Power key at same time for several seconds, still nothing. He thinks it’s either the adapter or mother board. So they are sending me a box and label to return it for repairs (7-10 days once they receive it).

I have mixed feelings over this. I paid for a NEW laptop, and really feel they should just replace it. Instead, it feels like I’m getting a refurbished one once they fix it. I want to like this laptop – it’s sleek, lightweight, and has the bells & whistles I was looking for. Will post an update once I have it back, but am not thrilled at this moment.

Honestly if I could return this I would. The keys will randomly stop working and it will sometimes take forever to reboot. I’ve tried all the non-hardware things I could do in order to fix the keyboard problem but it still persists.
