I have this one and the Brother PT-E500. They are both about the same price. The Brother has an easier to read screen, the labels are longer and cheaper, the Brother has a motorized cutter, and connects to a PC. And the Brother has multiple fonts, more symbols, and more different size fonts. I like the Dymo tape door better, but in all other ways, the Brother is better.

This Item came without the charging battery which i didn’t need since I had one in the unit I was replacing.
It didn’t have a carry case which I didn’t need since i had the one from the one Iwas replacing.
It is perfect when you need to repair one, It is better that repairing the old one. They are great for labeling cables or files.
