These do a great job at filtering out particles like pollen, dust, and make a huge difference in places that are dusty by nature (for example, next to a bus/train station). I tried the copycat replacements, but they either don’t fit correctly, or have issues in manufacturing. One thing to notice is that the HEPA filters do last as advertised, but the charcoal filter needs to be replaced very frequently in order not to block the air flow in the filter. Germ Guardian could provide original replacements are a lower price point, as their competitors are basically using the same material and it’s a straight cut (no assembly required). However, I am happy they include the charcoal filter with the replacement HEPA filter as I probably wouldn’t have understood the benefits of the charcoal filter if they hadn’t. Overall great product, just a little high on the price point but I do support the brand and their development of air filters so they get my money at least once a year, per each filter in each room.

To enhance customer satisfaction, I recommend that Amazon or the respective distributor improve their packaging methods. This would conceal the product, providing added protection and reducing the risk of theft after delivery.

Love the dust it collects from the air, but most of all I love the blue light that helps with germs. After Covid nearly destroyed us the first year, I purchased one and it seemed to help us stay healthier. When a storm sent a tree into our roof I was worried about possible mildew or must still being present in our closets. Purchased thus one by the closet in a bedroom and the difference in the feel in the air is remarkable. The room isn’t used that much so I run it almost all of the time to keep the air moving. I run the other one less.

It was easy to remove the old one and put a new one in. I know this is going to last me for a long time so I would say it’s worth the money. My room has also never smelled fresher and any unwanted scents were also removed since I have added this new filter to my air freshener.

This filter fits my Germguardian perfectly. Easy to install. It was really needed. The old one looked like a fur baby. Just wish the price was not so high and I’m leery of using an off brand.
