Pode comprar sem medo, é um excelente microfone, e pela resolução de áudio de 24-bit 96kHz, ganha de todos o microfones gamer do mercado, sem contar que o software é bem otimizado e intuitivo.

The JBL Quantum Stream: Dual Pattern Premium USB Microphone is easily the best microphone I have ever had! I am not a professional by any stretch of the imagination, but I have had quite a few different mics over the years. Eventually, I plan on doing some streaming and will have a channel for 3D printers and printing. In the meantime, I mainly use my microphones for virtual meetings using Zoom and Webex.

When I came across this microphone, several things jumped out at me right away. The first being that it is from JBL. Prior to my current career in Claim Adjusting, I worked in the car and home audio industries. I have used JBL in the past and I have always liked and appreciated their equipment. They make great products with quality materials and care about the accurate reproduction of sound. This is my first JBL microphone but if it is half as good as some of the JBL audio equipment I have used in the past, and based on my initial impressions so far, this will be an outstanding microphone.

The next thing that jumped out (though to some or most, it is probably the first thing notice) is how nice this thing looks! From the shape and style to the matte black surface and colored ring around the bottom, it just looks sharp. My last microphone had the long, flexible neck with the condenser mic on the end and I hid it as much as I could with just the mic being visible. I like the look of this one so much, I was looking for the best and most visible spot I could find, lol. Add in the fact that you can attach it to a camera tripod, attach it to a boom arm, a shock mount or just leave it attached to the desk mount.

The unit itself is minimalist (especially for all the features it has) with a single knob, that controls the volume, and you push it in to switch between the headphone volume and the microphone volume. On the bottom edge of the unit there is a colored ring that will change colors based on certain parameters and functions (green for unmuted, red for muted, etc.). Also on the bottom is the USB-C plug and the headphone port. The top of the microphone is a touch button to turn-on/turn-off the mute function. All the main settings are controlled through the app that you need to download, and it is easy to use.

As I mentioned, I am currently using it for virtual meetings, and I could tell the difference between my old microphone and this one immediately as the sound quality is way better! You will want to adjust the settings for your particular environment and usage to achieve the best results. If you are looking for a great microphone for streaming, recording or even just for virtual meetings, I recommend you take a good look at the JBL Quantum Stream: Dual Pattern Premium USB Microphone or better yet just get it, you will be glad you did!

This is a genuinely good microphone. It’s great for the regular streamer or podcaster. The diverse pickup patterns, omni vs cardioid, are incredibly useful. The materials are top notch. All of the items feel sturdy and quality. The USB cord is a nice usable length, perfect for use with an arm attached to my desk and wire properly routed through it. The controls on the mic are super intuitive and easy to use. The lights are unobtrusive and functional. The stand is really useful. The software is helpful and intuitive. The microphone sounds great and can recreate any sort of sound you’re looking for. It’s crisp and full bodied. The EQ settings make it easy to tailor to your preferences. The headphone port is super handy in keeping cords limited in your setup. I use a HyperX Wired headset with a short cable that plugs right into the bottom of the microphone. The sound card is top notch and allows for easy usage and storage of my headphones. Excellent name brand option for those looking to step up their streaming quality.

     Update March 23, 2023
This is no longer a budget mic pick, it’s DOUBLED in price on Amazon since Jan 1, and looks like it’s stuck at the new price point. That makes it a much harder sell over the similar JLab Epic Talk , Blue Yeti or other mics.
It’s still a GREAT mic, just not a great mic at a fantastic price.

    Original reviw:*****************
There is a LOT to like about this mic.
In the video I tested this mic (JBL Quantum Stream), my previous favorite the JLab Epic Talk, and a Logitech webcam. You can hear the quality of each.

The test was performed with 4 Harvard Sentences. These sentences were produced in the midst of World War II to enable more clear, effective, and efficient military correspondence. The research lab where the sentences came to life was located in a boiler room turned secret testing room. For the most part, the phrases attempt to examine whether or not language was comprehensible during interactions.

    About the mic:
For starters, the front knob allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the mic. Someone say’s you’re too low? Turn the knob a little. At the high end, the boost is a bit much and it will pick up room noise like the AC or a fan.

It has 2 settings for good flexibility.
Cardioid – this is the most useful setting for most of us. It blocks out everything EXCEPT audio directly in front of it. It does a great job of excluding AC or other noise in the room.
    Omni-directional

It is connected to the PC with USBC and also has a 3.5mm jack for headphones. The stand is easy to assemble, but the USB connection comes out of the bottom, not the back like most microphones. This makes it slightly less convenient.

When you plug in the mic, it will ask you to reboot your pc, and ask to install the JBL Quantum software. I recommend you go ahead and install the software then reboot your PC. This is the first time I’ve ever plugged in a mic and needed to reboot. I did a few tests and it seemed fine without a reboot, but I did it anyway.

The eco friendly packing of the mic is also a plus. See the pics.

This is highly recommended if you do any type of podcasting or zoom calls I’ve tested a lot of computer mics, and this is one incredible.

I love this mic. If I didn’t already have the 3x more expensive JLab Epic Talk, this would be my permanent mic.
