My old Toshiba was lightning fast when new 7 years ago, but has slowed way down. I expected this new Lenovo to perform at least as well as the old Toshiba did when new.
The Ideapad is almost as slow as the old laptop it is replacing. Pages load slowly. Streaming is jerky, constantly freezing the picture or becoming blurry. Audio also slows and freezes. When scrolling down an internet page, the pages move in starts and jerks. Very distracting and annoying. There is no page in which ads are not constantly popping up moving the text all over the place making it impossible to enjoy a smooth experience on any page at all.
2 or 3 times a day there comes a period where the screen will go completely black for 2 seconds. then, again, then again. Try to do a search for help on this issue!
You cannot set up your mail in Outlook or even Exchange. All that is available is some primitive piece of crap that I think is called Live Mail. You cannot set up rules or even block unwanted senders. Like the internet, maneuvering in this product is jerky and annoying.
Overall, I do not enjoy using this thing at all. It is like a child’s toy on dial-up. Very disappointing. I will not buy another computer online. I will only go to a brick and mortar store where I can try it out personally first.

If you’re trying to buy something small to stream or edit with, DO NOT AND I MEAN DOOOO NOT BUY THIS. It’s very terrible, it’s slow, and it’s kinda glitchy. IM VERY DISAPPOINTED AMAZON. DO BETTER PLEASE!!!!

Looks good, feels nice and so far it works well. It does perform a little slow, a frozen screen here and there while loading, but its tolerable. Pretty good over all.
