I needed something to transfer some virtual computers and also test XCP-NG and Proxmox, and this little thing is doing great with both of them, right now I got the Proxmox on there, for what I do I think it’s better for me, however my big server is running a quite few other things so I have time to play with this little thing. it’s really amazing at how well it does compared to my gigantic dual Xeon 7910 dell workstation.

Just hooked it up a few days ago. It is silent, takes up no room, easy to hook up. The two ethernet ports are great. I transferred files via ethernet from my old computer. SSD love it. I am going to add a second SSD to the back of the top cover and use the supplied screws and SATA connector cable supplied by seller. Well done to who ever designed this small pc. Update: March 2024 The MInisforum pc is still working perfectly. It boots up super fast and it is quiet. Love it

I was specifically looking for a barebones mini PC that I could install VMware ESXi 8. I’ve researched quite a few of these for that purpose and one issue that others frequently mentioned is the lack of native NIC driver support when installing ESXi. This was one of the few mini PCs out there that had an Intel NIC that is compatible with ESXi 8. I didn’t want to go through the hassle of using Fling or building a custom image. I bought 64GB of RAM and a high capacity NVMe drive and was off to the races. Installation was painless and performance is great for my needs (I’m running a total of 6 VMs simultaneously). This is a great option for those looking to run a low powered server.

when i buy, i use single monitor samsung oled 49 in, work fine, then i buy 2 minisforum , one for me for dual screen and one for my wife single monitor for work, and buy one more samsung oled 49 in, i plug 2 samsung oled 49 in and it does not work properly, when streaming video the screen blinking black very optain, try to return but amazon said return window expired.

I installed Debian Linux and CasaOS, and am running this as a server in my house. Plex Transcodes perfectly, and all other services work great (with plenty of CPU/RAM to spare.

15 años usuario Mac y con ganas de una Mac mini, terminé decidiéndome por esta belleza.
Debo decir que desde el empaque, se nota el cuidado de Minisforum como marca. Me deleité abriendo la caja y apreciando la gama de colores y aromas a nuevo.
Me encanta la sobriedad y detalle de la mini PC y, aún cuando sé que hay otras muchísimo más potentes, me sorprendió la rapidez de encendido. No hace ruido y no se calienta aún con varias horas de uso.
Elegí este modelo, principalmente por su RAM y SSD, pero destaca también la cantidad de puertos disponibles, y sobretodo que tenga en frente un puerto USB-C y el jack para auriculares. Puede parecer poca cosa, pero para mi hace la diferencia.
Definitivamente compraré otras Minisforum en el futuro, pero esta para empezar a retomar Windows me ha fascinado.

This is an impressive little PC. It works well, it’s quiet and is everything the manufacture says. It’s also easy to add storage but you need delicate hands to connect the SATA cable to the motherboard, it’s tiny. As far as I can tell, Minisforum didn’t install any additional bloatware and all you get is the Intel drivers.
A few cons, Minisforum’s website is not really great for support, and drivers are compressed with .RAR which is strange today. Makes me wonder if they will be there in a few years. They’d probably just be better off to provide links to Intel’s Driver and Support Assistant, which you should install. Also, Windows 11! Microsoft was nice enough to supply the bloatware for Minisforum. If you know how to use the Powershell, you can remove most of it and with some work shut off all the invasive and tracking services.
Overall, I’d recommend it and it was a good value.
