Purchased 12/31/23 stopped working on 2/15/24. Sent to Skullcandy under warranty and had to pay for shipping with tracking. Almost a month later i had to ask for update and no one could find anything with the claim # they provided. If you don’t have tracking info to prove it delivered to them the good luck getting anything. They sent me a coupon for the value of the purchase NOT including taxes and the protection plan I had purchased and didn’t get to use. Then they were “out of stock” so either I lose money getting a cheap one or pay more for a bigger one. OH ON TOP OF THAT the coupon they gave me expires in 2 weeks… spend couple dollars more and just get you a JBL.

So there have been a lot of comments and reviews stating when the bass is activated the sound drops to amplify it, it’s not as bad as I expected it to be. It only happens at the highest volume settings and idk about you but I’m not trying to blow the speaker out within the week.
As for the speaker itself, I have used this everyday since I received it. Use it while cleaning the house, while working at my computer, mowing the lawn, having guests over, etc. This awesome little speaker blows my mind that it could be so crisp and clear yet reach the volumes it does. I’m already a fan of skull candy but this is the first time I’ve given a speaker from them a try. Typically they’re not very good with Bluetooth speakers but they definitely hit the mark with this one. I’m looking forward to trying out its waterproofing in the near future

This speaker sounds better than my Bose colorlink, which I love. It has great quality sound output. The bass is definitely there and you can hear it hit on every beat.
