This case cracked while sitting on my desk, I wasn’t even using it and only had it for one day.
In addition the packaging is not sealed so you will have to clean dust and dirt out of your new case before you install it.
I expected more from a company that’s been around over 10 years making Macbook cases
Look else where to protect your expensive equipment, this product is worth $5 not $50

The case looks great, but it is not durable. I have had two and the corners cracked in less than a month for each of them. I would NOT recommend this case.

(update, after several months of normal use, cracks were starting to form, and then large pieces of the corners were lost after a small drop, removing a star for a great case with low durability)
So, there’s the Chinesium variant of laptop cases, right, they all have the vents on the bottom center of the case, which make no sense, since this laptop’s intake is on the bottom sides. I’ve avoided those.
I’ve bought two other hardshells with proper design. I can’t remember the brands, but most hardshells have a ‘clattery’ feel in that you can feel them move and they don’t feel part of the laptop.
All that’s to say, this hardshell has a pleasantly firm grip on the laptop. Enough so that feels as one with the device. Nice engineering on the feet too, other cases just add extra bulk to the height of the device, but these shave a few mm off the feet which makes more of a difference than I thought it would.

I’ve bought Speck cases for my MacBooks previously. Decided to get this one for my M3 MacBook Pro and the corner cracked on the second day. Very disappointed. My previous ones lasted longer than this one. Not sure if I will keep purchasing these or go with a skin next time.

1: quality is poor. Broken 3rd day
2. Poor fit, too tight unable fit without edge cracking
3. Back button is completely exposed.

I ordered the “Swell blue” which looks like a light blue/teal color, I received a dark navy blue color , I don’t have time to return and exchange it so I’m keeping it but advertisement picture is inaccurate .
Case fits nicely though, thinner than the older model but seems to be made to take a hit then replaced but that’s what they’re for, if it weren’t for the wrong color I’d give a higher rating

It is so thin and durable. It’s not like a cheap plastic feel, but rather a high-end touch and very good quality.
It works for my newest 2023 Macbook Pro with M2 chip as well. I guess maybe Apple was using similar model for both the (2021 one) and the (2023 one with M2 chip)?
