This items published size is 13.9 x 9 CM
The physical size is 11.0 x 2.2 CM
Its misleading to say the least!
1 star due to such an important factor.

I used this memory module to improve the performance of my Synology DS1522+ Network Attached Storage (NAS) unit. The synology DS1522+ uses the memory to buffer disk access and provide a smooth data stream. It works much better than my old Drobo 5D.

I purchased 2 of these that were “deals” because of a return. Lo and behold one was a deal and one someone had pulled the sticker off and put on a micron 256GB SSD. I knew it looked different when I pulled it out of the Synology box compared to the other (didn’t know which one was legit until I installed them). Shame that people are that dishonest.
Amazon took it back and I purchased a new one and all is well.
They work very well and make my NAS a good bit snappier. Sucks that Synology products are the only ones without some backdoor stuff that allow storage on them.

The Synology 923+ is an amazing device. All the included support packages take care of most of your needs. Secure, flexible and a complete package make the DS923+ a fantastic value.

I put one of these in my Synology 1522+ and set it up as a read cache. The loading times for photos on my phone all dramatically improved. So did file download and video watching speeds. Synology guarantees the durability of their M.2s (unlike other companies) and will happily RMA any that you may have issues with. I’ll gladly pay a little more for a longer lasting product with good support!

Bought a nice new DS923+ and thought hey, let’s shell out twice a products value to get certified Synology NVME drives. So I ordered two of the SNV3510-800G! Jokes on me though, they physically will not fit in the DS923+. The NAS only supports 80mm NVME drives, and these are 110mm. Why Synology? Why make these if they don’t fit in one of your top selling NAS’s! Now in hindsight I needed to have purchased the 3410-800G drives instead, but my brain saw a higher number and thought newer version, not incompatability. Sadly they’re going back to Amazon, and I search out alternatives. (FWIW there’s a script out there that allows you to use unsupported drives and save money, do some Googling)
