Replaced a Smart 5K with this and it is a much better experience. Both set to around 70v at the output at 1ohm to my STU15, all tuning handled via my Helix DSP.3S. No tuning change between the two and the BOSS sounds infinitely better AND isn’t clipping at all. In my 300 with a 325a alt, a small LiFePo4 main battery, and a huge 148ah LiFePo4 battery bank, I can sit at idle with the music cranked and I won’t drop under 13v. And I now have NO headlight dimming and no dash light dimming (a common MOPAR issue many forums claim can’t be avoided in the Charger/Challenger/300..), unlike with the Smart 5K.
Next step will be replacing the STU15 with my new American Bass Godzilla 15 and re-doing all my power/ground wiring for the added draw, and seeing how 8k on the Godzilla sounds. Probably need a new box as well, but the 300 trunk isnt as big as you would think, and I still want to use at least a bit of my trunk as…well…a trunk.

Ok, I was a little apprehensive about buying one just due to the past issues from some of their products. This one… wow. It’s crazy! The lower it produces and consumes lol, is amazing. The second I turned it on and all the lights came on, I was shocked and in love with it. This thing is amazing. Glad I purchased it. Don’t forget to have enough power to run it, like 148AH or more lol. It is power hungry. Can’t say enough about how much I love this amp!
