So, in this case the “travel” is between home and school every day. We also bought a case to protect this and the mouse is working well on a sketchy school laptop where the tracking pad was not! My 7th grader will probably keep using this wireless mouse for school in future years, even with a better laptop – he really likes it.

I purchased this mouse for use with my laptop. My previous mouse simply “wore out”. Much to my dismay the pointer starts jumping very erratically when I use it within 5-6 inches of the laptop. The last mouse never did this. I play “The Microsoft Solitaire Collection” games where the speed of play (mainly in event competition) affects my overall position. I’ve always sat in my recliner with my laptop on my lap while using the armrest as the base for moving the mouse. With this mouse I can no longer do this. If I move this mouse TOWARDS my laptop (as little as an inch) to click on the next card I need to play, more times than not, the pointer disappears. To RE-ESTABLISH a visible pointer I have to move the mouse. Then move the pointer back to that card to continue. I’m annoyed! I should have purchased a different, cheaper brand like the Logitech I had. Live and learn I guess?

A really great wireless mouse for an unbeatable price. No more wires to deal with and it looks great too! It didn’t come with the 2 AA batteries required, but for less than $6 with free shipping, it really is an astounding value! After receiving my purchase, I ordered a 2nd wireless mouse and I am quite happy with both. The seller shipped them quickly and I only have good things to say about my purchase!

Overall, I have found this to be an excellent wireless mouse that is fast, well built and works a good distance from the computer. The only complaint I have is that it is a little heavy due to using AA batteries. I think the next wireless mouse I purchase will have to use AAA batteries instead of AAs to reduce the heaviness of the mouse. Otherwise, no problems. A good product.

I like this mouse opposed to most of the reviews, i repair computers and do not like using a laptop touch mouse so i bring this one along and plug it in and it has always loaded and kicked right in for working. I like the AMW50US as it has a spot for the USB sender that shuts off the mouse saving the battery, i carry mine in and old camera case. I think it would be pain if you used it all the time for a main mouse but how i use it it fits right in perfectly. I have another that worked for almost 4 years, till i crunched it underfoot, not by choice, so i went looking for another, i will see if this one last as long as the other, if it does not i will let you all know in an edit.

I really love Targus mice – they feel good in my hand, are weighted just right and the battery lasts a very long time. And when I saw the mouse pictured here, for only $14, I had to order one. However, I got a different model than the one in the picture and was disappointed, to say the least, because didn’t needed another mouse (I have five or six already), I wanted that mouse in the picture. There is nothing wrong with this one, is small and lightweight enough for travel, works great, the wheel has a good feel, but is not what I ordered – so gave it to my spouse so I do not have to be bothered with returning a $14 mouse.
