Decent wifi adapter that has a pretty big construction flaw – it is fragile! And I mean to the point where you are privy to never touch it, or touch it as little as possible. When deployed into a 90 degree angle for maximum coverage, this product does in fact become highly prone to probably falling apart at any impact. I fear if you were to place it in an environment/direction with a lot of movement, if it were ever clipped by accident it would most likely break instantly.
Despite this fragility, it does perform. My scenario involves using a 5G network as it is faster, at a distance of about 20 feet, separated slightly by a wall and door, alongside some furniture. In fact, my adapter is not even facing the correct direction, which makes me more impressed. Performance is fantastic for this product, though the construction creates long-term viability concerns.

I recently moved to a 60 year old house in Kentucky. As such, the wireless internet has dead zones, something about old houses here. My laptop would drop the signal dozens of times a day, making it impossible to do any kind of work. This little adapter worked as soon as I had the software installed. Luckily, since laptops now a days don’t have a disc drive (a whole different complaint) I have a portable disc drive since the software is on a CD, loaded it in a couple of minutes, and now have a drop down menu which now defaults to the new adapter. Wifi 1 and wifi 2, 2 being the new one.
It doesn’t miss a beat being plugged back in if I unplug it to move my laptop to a new location or whatever. Starts working immediately. Seems pretty durable thus far. And has a faint green light to indicate power, unlike some bright obnoxious ones I’ve read about as my laptop stays in my bedroom for the night. And the price was outstanding. I was afraid I was going to have to fork over $50 or more. This little adapter is perfect in my opinion. THANKS!!!

At first I had a problem with the installation because it wouldn’t recognise it on the USB connector. I would make everybody aware that it is only suitable for USB3. It wouldn’t run correctly on USB2 for me. After this the Wi-Fi Adaptor was an easy plug and play on Windows 10. The drivers installed automatically from the moment it was plugged in. I had been having problems with with my Wi-Fi signal and this has blown all expectations away. I have gone from an average of 35Mbps to an average of 275Mbps. It is a really incredible difference. Well worth the money and simple to install. Just remember to use a USB3 slot from your motherboard.

I got this to add a second wifi receiver to my gaming laptop. It helps freeing the VR from being connected through USB cable.
It didn’t need the driver to get recognized by windows. Just plug and play.
So far, it is been working fine. No glitches, no drops.
I was planning on getting a hub switch. This was a more convenient option for a good price.
