I have to admit I am not the kind to often leave feed-back but this product deserves my time to make an exception.
Fits on wall as described, it is designed to allows 3 added ethernet connections.
In my case it acts as both AP as well as GB switch to my TV, BD and stream box.
It integrates with my Amada gateway for seamless management via phone app or PC login.
Impressive mesh functionality ( with second or third AP) sorted out all my previous Wi-Fi issues.
No more dropped connections and slowdowns! Seamless switch between APs is now letting me move around the place and not worry about interrupting streams, downloads etc.
Sure it requires gateway and some initial setup but all worth it.
Strongly recommend!

Set up on this product was simple and fast, you can use it as a standalone access point, or incorporate it into a mesh network with other Omada access points when you purchase and Omada controller and can then control it locally or through their Cloud Controller. Remember that this unit was designed as a local access point, and, depending on the size and construction of your home or business, you may need more than one unit. In this case, I installed it in the middle of a small and new (1100 square foot) home, and the WiFi signal remained strong throughout. I like that this EAP is very small and unobtrusive, and is currently future proofed with WiFi 6. Should it need to be replaced with a newer version, replacement can take place in minutes with a few additional minutes for removing and adding the new Omada EAP. I highly recommend this product!

I tried these out for a job. They work great. Easy to set up stand alone. Nice and small. I tested a couple of the network ports, seem to work fine. And they work great with the TP Link 5-port POE switch.

As an experienced networking enthusiast, I was eager to try out the TP-Link EAP613 Wireless Access Point, and it certainly lives up to its promise. This access point, designed with Omada True Wi-Fi 6 AX1800 technology, offers a remarkable boost in network performance and capacity.
The ultra-slim design makes it discreet yet powerful, fitting seamlessly into any environment. With features like Mesh, Seamless Roaming, and support for WPA3 encryption, it ensures a secure and efficient network connection.
The ability to control it remotely via the app and Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) compatibility simplify installation and management. Plus, multiple controller options provide flexibility in network administration. Whether you’re a seasoned networking pro or looking to upgrade your home or office network, the TP-Link EAP613 Access Point is a cutting-edge choice that delivers reliable, high-speed Wi-Fi.

Upgrade to AP system from mesh RB50, and it is a significant improvement in range. The AP is not really noticeable, nor does it get hot. It does show significant amount of packet loss but it doesn’t translate to performance loss, which makes me think its a software reporting glitch. Over all I do highly recommend it.

I cannot provide an accurate review if you use this access point as a standalone AP or in a network with another brand mounted, but as an owner of a network within the Omada environment with the OC200 hardware controller, the ease of adoption, configuration, and adaptability is impeccable. I tested the coverage range, and it is quite decent for its price. Compared to the 670 and the 660HD, it remains on par but with a much more compact, thin, and elegant casing.

Bought these to upgrade our home network. Was tired of spotty coverage, bad luck with repeaters and hated having to manually switch networks with other APs -roaming was never very effective. So the idea of fast roaming was really appealing. I didn’t need a mesh system bc we have a lot of ethernet ports throughout the house so the 615 wall APs seemed like a good idea. I’m really pleased. I use 2 of them on the main floor (3 floor house), one on each end. The coverage is great for our house (~3500 sq ft). Sitting in the same room as the AP, I’m ~450+ Mbps (500/500 up/down for our ISP). Great coverage for the floor above and floor below the APs. Worse coverage in the house, I’m still pulling 250 Mbps. I use these with the SG-2008P switch and the omada controller software, which does a good job with fast roaming. The APs are easy to mount to replace an existing ethernet wall plate, just note they are POE. Not much bigger than the wall plate and no antennas sticking out. Much less intrusive than a typical AP with antennas hanging out on a table to shelf. Has 3 ethernet ports on the bottom for direct hard wire connections, which is really convenient. Easy enough to configure the network with the omada software, although I wouldn’t recommend their router (tried it and returned it). Overall, very pleased, and would highly recommend.

TP-link isn’t one of the most expensive brands but itโs definitely rock solid and reliable.
I added this to my existing omada setup and it works great no issues. The signal is strong and it looks good.
Cant really go wrong with a tplink omada setup its reasonable priced and quite flexible to meet your networking needs.

Potential purchasers beware: THIS IS NOT A ROUTER NOR A MODEM. You need a router/modem for internet access. This is literally just a wifi access point.
This is a pretty straightforward wifi access point. It’s not the fastest nor the most powerful, but it does nicely for casual applications. I’m using it for a guest network at home. It hasn’t given me any trouble, and so far it seems to work great. It supports the basics, like VLAN tagging and such.

TLDR: really really good wifi 6 performance, clean minimal appearance and super simple to get configured.
I don’t know what the upper limit of wifi 6 is, but I’m not complaining at all about 400mbps just five minutes after opening the box. I put a few of these around my house and the mesh-handoff is absolutely seamless. I also like that these also act like a switch, so I was able to plug my desktop into one of them for full gigabit speed hardwired while it also covered that corner of the house in super fast wifi.
Setup was super easy – Find the IP address of the new AP, set a new admin password, set the wifi SSID and password and you’re done. There are a ton of power user features available for those who want to tweak and optimize further, but I’m more than happy with the out of box config which is a rare thing. Omada and SDN have made TP-link my go-to brand for home networking gear.
