You can almost never go wrong with anything made by Ulanzi. I have a bunch of stuff from this brand and it’s all been well made at a good price, and this is no exception. Super handy for any content creator.

OMG! Found a great all-in-one travel gadget!
Thoughts:
– Made of durable plastic, feels solid, high quality with a good build and design.
– Size of the hilt is similar to a light saber hilt and has texturized feel to help with the grip.
– MagSafe magnetic strength is fairly strong; Put my heavy thick Temden case for my S22 Ultra that has a magnetic circle sticker to it and it held firmly, even without needed the two prongs of the quick-release elastic clamp.
– Quick-release elastic clamp has rubber feet to help hold onto phone and not scratch it
– the camera mount base has 3 different 1/4 threads to mount onto the stick/tripod, so you can it in two different “L” formation (towards the right or towards the left) as well as the tradition mounting of it straight “I” formation.
– the phone mount can be removed and used on a different tripod
– Can extend really long, can rotate the phone 360 degrees along one plane and then tilt it forward and and backward 180 degrees.
– The “Ulanzi” remote control is built-in to the handle but can also be removed if you are using the tripod. It uses “CR1632” 3V Lithium Cell batteries if you ever need to replace. Just press the button for a long time for the blue light to come on and then find it on your bluetooth under “Ulanzi” and pair. Easy to pair.
– Can extend really long
– The tripod is built in, you just go to the bottom of the hilt and start to pull out 1 of the 3 leaves/legs, and then gently expand all 3 leaves/legs out. When done using, just do the reverse and then close and the legs together tightly until you hear it snap into place.
I think this is a great selfie-stick and tripod to travel with for fun, vacation use. The legs of the tripod can only extend so far (so less stability) and since it’s just one long telescoping handle with a small base, it can easily be knocked down. Hence, this tripod might not be sturdy enough to use to film sports events as I can see it easily getting knocked down or moving around too much due to vibration, but could be great as a backup since it takes up very little space in luggage (can be broken down to 12-in hilt and 5-in phone holder adapter. So much more portable than my regular tripod I use for videotaping sports!

As a twitch streamer i’ve started working on Tiktok videos and this is just amazing for something that i have never used before. I’m only ever on just twitch and the phone is not on my to use list at any point in time. So i thought this might be a good go to for a first time starter. The bottom of the stand is very sturdy and very easy to use, opened up very well for me. The top of the stand is not to bad. My phone has a hard shell on it for both front and back, so the magnetic part of it does not work to well for it, but i’m all good with that as long as the grip works to hold me phone. Then i’m all good with it and yes the grip works very well. The hight part of the stand does very well for recording videos on tiktok while i’m streaming on twitch at the same time. So it works the way i wanted it to. I needed something that would be as high as my tv is so that i could adjust it to the right height and do everything at the same time. I’m really bad to multitask while streaming. All in all this works very well for me and yes i would definitely use something like this as a beginner on tiktok. Would i buy this? Yes i would, but i feel like the asking price is way too much. You can buy better ones on amazon for way less with really good lighting on them as well.

What I like:
It extends really long, which is a bit unsteady for selfies, but really nice in tripod mode.
Bluetooth trigger is easy to set up and detachable from the stick.
It has a built-in tripod.
It has magnetic and gripping phone holder which holds phone in place without fear of falling off.
Balanced weight – the handle is quite long and based on the button location, you hold it pretty high on the handle which then the lower handle acts as counterweight to the phone for a nice balanced feel.
What I didn’t like:
Plastic feel. A nicer rubberized grip would have made this a lot nicer.
Fixed mount – the phone mount doesn’t rotate. When you screw it onto the stick, depending on how tight you screw it, it may not line up with the hinge, so you have to leave it slightly loose to align with the hinge.
Overall, it seems built well and I’m happy with it.

Was a little difficult to open the stand legs but after reading several of the reviews, all it needed was a little elbow grease and strong pulling. I thought it would break but it was fine and started to open once I pulled with a little more strength. The adjustable length and head rotation are great. You really have so many recording options with this. The height is perfect for outside recording or if you want to record on a table with a full view. The remote pairs easily and works well. Nice quality, I saw a review that mentioned its made of plastic (which it is) but I found it to be very sturdy and heavyweight without being too heavy. I haven’t really used the mag stripe because the clip your phone clicks into is sufficient. I find this works well for my needs.

Definitely sturdy, but the quality I’m not sure about that. I find it actually not easy to use, it took me awhile to figure out how to open the stand. I say it easy to extend to its maximum length. Love the magnetic part besides the part that holds the phone on both side. It has some weight to it when folded and too long and bulky for purses.
