This case is perfect for iPads that are used in rough situations. This works well on the road or even when handing it to the kids. The iPad is enclosed in a removable case that can be placed on the keyboard stand facing in either orientation. The hinge is solid and will hold your iPad in the position you leave it. The keyboard has a good feel and a decent amount of essential travel. It only took me a minute to adjust to this keyboard, with its biggest downside being oval keys. The key placement is very standard, so inadvertent keystrokes rarely happen. The USB-C port appears to only be for charging, and there are no power or data connectors between the iPad and the keyboard. The battery does feel large due to the weight, so the bluetooth-conected keyboard should last a very long time. This is a very nice keyboard case with lots of options and wonderful protection.
