Very happy with this Anker MagGo Magnetic Wireless Charger. I had purchased a different off-brand wireless charger and it made my Pixel 8 Pro VERY hot so I stopped using it. This one doesn’t make my phone feel hot. The magnets are strong, and it seems to charge well. So far very happy with the Anker MagGo Magnetic Wireless Qi2 Charger.

Everything I love about the MagSafe Puck from Apple is now powered by Anker. The cord is a decent length and doesnāt get overly hot. It still gets a little warm but nothing too crazy. A little bulkier than the MagSafe Puck but not so big that itās an annoyance. Would definitely recommend if youāre in the market for a new Qi2 charger!

Quality feels and looks very good, I would say a flat back would have been a better design. It gets very warm after a while and charging is a little slower than regular cable. š¤£

Hold very well and can charge quickly. Paired this with a dbrand case on my pixel 8pro and am loving it. Now I don’t bend my cables at night in bed as I rest my phone on my chest

Super hott!!! Slow charging even on a 30watt plug. Compared this on my 30 watt plug and said 1hr 34min to full charge. Plugged it into my reg charger with c plug and it was 30min to full charge… so not worth the money I paid for this.

The problem with Apple’s MagSafe Charger is that it has a 1 meter USB-C cable attached to it. This is barely long enough to reach from my nightstand down to my power strip on the floor, and gives me no slack to move the charger around on my nightstand. Also, I have a 12 South FortĆ© Charging Stand for my iPhone, and that requires you to have a MagSafe Charger inserted into the stand, which JUST FITS the Apple charger. This Anker MagGo Charger is a few mm too wide in diameter, and a little too thick, to fit in there properly. So, it just won’t work! Why couldn’t Anker make it the same size as the Apple device? Don’t they realize that people have charging STANDS that these pucks need to fit into? Well, the whole point of me buying this device was to put it into my FortĆ© Charging Stand (which I already owned). It’s just that Anker’s device had a cord that was the right length!! This is absolutely maddening!
Edit (2/17/2024): Anker actually emailed me in response to my review, and they apologized for my inconvenience and to try to rectify the situation. They are generally a GREAT company and theyāve always sold very high quality products and given excellent customer service. In this case, I decided to keep the product, since my wife wanted it as an easy way to keep her iPhone charging on her desk.

Works Great! Currently us this for my Samsung s23 Ultra and the only issue that I’ve had is it tends to get pretty hot when using your device. Other than that, its been nice to have. Magnets are strong and it never falls off. Moderate charging speed too (though this ultimately depends on your power brick.)
TL;DR Strong magnets, good charging speed, and a great hand warmer all in one!

This review is specific to using the charger with a Samsung Galaxy S23+ in a Rokform magnetic case. So far it’s the Only wireless charger I’ve found that works with the case. It does only charge at the 7W level not 15. But since this charger is designed to work with an iphone and not a Samsung device I didn’t knock a star off for that. Overall the charger seems well made. Strong magnets and rather heavy. It does get quite warm but my phone has never alerted for overheating or reduced charging speed.
