We have purchased two of these for my office, and they perform like champs. We used the PoE ports to run Mitel 5224 IP phones and are now running Snom 710 IP phones. The other ports are used to network multiple computers. These switches are always on, consistent gigabit speeds, and compact enough to hide away underneath the desk. Excellent value and perfect for our needs. Thanks, D-Link!

This is a good product. I have had several of these for over a year with not one problem. The best part of it is its simplicity. Plug it in and forget about it. No need to fiddle with management software. Just forget about it. The front panel is color coded so you can easily see which ports are powered (the yellow ones). It is just the right size for home or small office use. My only, somewhat minor complaint is the price seems a bit high. Maybe that will change. So, no technical review here, just a simple endorsement from an experienced user. If you need a PoE switch, this one works well and reliably.

Many IoT (Internet of Things) devices e.g. home security cameras, video doorbells, etc want PoE (Power Over Ethernet). This device is recommended by DoorBird for their IP Video Doorbell Stations.
Can confirm it works flawlessly. Plug into power, run an ethernet cable from any port (I used a non yellow/non PoE port) to my Netgear X6 Nighthawk router. Worked on bootup. No setup. Hasn’t even hiccuped in over a month. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Worked for a few days with no issues, then my cameras showed offline. Checked the device and it was not powered on. Tried power cycling, tried other outlets. Unit was dead. Returned.

Able to supply power to four IP cameras and use the fifth port for network access. Holds bandwidth just fine and is easy to install without any setup (plug-n-play). If you’re looking to setup a few IP cameras on your network, I’d recommend this.

Great little switch. I run two in my office as remote switches to connect work areas rather than to run wires. While Wireless is great, wired is still the most reliable way to connect your network, credit card machines, TV, printers, roku

This network switch has been working very well for over a month with no issues. We have it hooked to a Basler GigE industrial grade network camera and we are able to get the cameras full performance using this switch due to the jumbo frame support. Additionally, the built in PoE means we do not need to use the cameras external power supply. Finally, the switch seems to run cool and we have noticed no network problems when running large amounts of data over it. Great switch.
