I bought this laptop to search the internet and it is fast on start up and also fast on loading the webpages. I don’t use it for gaming so I dont know how it would work for that.

So far we have not been able to use the laptop. Once it finally turned on…..and we had to hit the button numerous times…we had a difficult time getting the internet on it. Then we could not go to any websites because it blocked them! I finally called DELL spending a lot of time on the phone to find out the system is in an S mode for protection. Which doesn’t help if you can’t get to the websites you need. Once he finally walked me through getting it out of S mode I once again had a problem with the internet opening. Then once the computer went to sleep trying to get it to turn on again is a nightmare! I am very disappointed that I have to call and sit on the phone again with DELL. I really think the computer is faulty but not sure what to do since I bought it from Amazon and not from a local retailer. This is the first purchase I have made from Amazon and it’s not gong well.

Y debido al corto presupuesto, me fui por esta.
La verdad no esperaba mucho, pero francamente me sorprendio para bien. Es delgada, tiene un buen tamaño de pantalla, y el ssd con el que viene integrado es de tipo nvme. Por lo que por 900 pesos mas la adquiri con un ssd de 480gb y pude ponerselo, conviviendo asi la memoria de 128 que es para el OS y el Visual Studio y los 480gb que le agregue para archivos personales
La verdad una compu super recomendada, recomiendo hacer la luchita y comprar un ssd adicional y una ram adicional, total, la compu esta a buen precio y es expandible

I bought this laptop in April 2020. About 3 to 4 weeks ago Camera stopped working. In fact the computer did not detect the Camera (as device). I contacted Dell support service. After investigating the problem remotely by their team in India for about 3 days, they created a service request for my problem and asked me to ship it (they provided the shipment labels and box) to their Repair Tool Center. I shipped it 8 days ago. And I was tracking the status. Three days after they received the laptop I got the status report from them that–the service part needed is not in stock. I tried to contact them but no avail. I always reached their voice mail —that says the voice mail is not set up. I don’t know when I’m going to see the problem resolved. And meantime I’m without computer, and I’m so behind and I’m helpless. ….and it’s very frustrating experience. I know Dell is a very reputable company and they always stand behind their product and service. But with this experience…I’m not happy with Dell.

It’s exactly what I needed. I mainly use my laptop as my “TV”. So mainly use it for watching shows, movies and social media. With the Covid19 I would now need it for working from home. Had to download different programs on my laptop and it didn’t give me any problems, works great! I don’t keep files on my laptop, anything i need to save goes on my external hard drive so it doesn’t take up space on the laptop. Screen is big and clear and it’s touch screen which I forget! It’s light and thin and I love it so far.

I looked to Amazon for a replacement for my old Dell laptop because their prices continue to be competitive. I was not disappointed, the price was great. This Dell Inspiron 15 laptop is much faster and has lots of memory. I am well pleased with the performance.

Performance is typical for a laptop of this price range. It would be fine for moderate games if it had discrete graphics, instead of Intel HD. Windows does not come activated and will require the purchase of a key. I was able to transfer the license from my previous laptop without any problem.
After receiving it, I increased the RAM to 16 GB and installed a second hard drive for additional storage. For the kid’s homework, light gaming, and general online work it is perfect.
