Descaling your espresso/coffee machine is just one of those maintenance things you should do for long-term reliability. I’ve used the official Delonghi descaler in my espresso machine for about 5.5 years now and have brewed over 8000 shots last time I checked. I can’t credit this descaler for all of the success, but I certainly can’t complain.

This descaler removed a great about of gunk built up in my coffee maker! It did a great job at it and I am very glad it did the job!

I descal me Delonghi espresso machine regularly.
I’m pleased with this product, it’s a little pricey but works like a charm.

It smells bad but vinegar smells bad as well. I’m not sure what it’s doing. Orange indicator starts flashing, I use this solution to descale. But when I don’t use it, the indicator still gets reset and I didn’t have any issue for that cycle until the orange indicator flashed again. They say that I can use lemon juice or vinegar instead of this solution. I may try lemon juice when I run out of this solution in… like 2 years. I just don’t like this smell filling the kitchen. It’s just very unpleasant.

My Breville was barely working and I was devastated. I thought the pump was going out as there wasn’t much pressure and the shots were barely pouring I couldn’t even ramp the coffee at all . So I read some reviews and decided to go with this brand . I ran it thru for a few seconds till I knew the chamber was full of the solution mix then I put it in standby for ten-15 mins to let it soak. I alternated between the basket and the wand till the water well was almost empty then I rinsed with clean filtered water running it thru 2 full containers . Now my machine works perfectly and I am so happy!!!! My shots are pouring perfect and the steamer has its power back . YEAY This product works GREAT and it affordable!!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

This does exactly what it is supposed to do. My espresso machine loves getting a tune up from this.
It is easy to use, I usually have to decalk mine every 3 months or so. This one lasts multiple decalk sessions, so I do not have to order it regularly. it doesn’t smell bad, or add any new flavor to the machine.
just follow the instructions, and you are good to go!
