I had to return the cups as they were for use in the Keurig and the Keurig cannot be used in the UK – it has the wrong plug.

If you follow the instructions, it will work great with your Mini-Plus. I searched on Q&A’s and reviews that had “mini plus” in them. This is what I found:

You must remove the gray section that is on the side and covers the base. Then you must remove the insert in the Keurig mini where you put the filter. To do this, push up from the bottom.

First remove the original black cup inside Mini Plus (push up from under top base where coffee flows & lightly turn top of cup from inside with your other hand – no pressure).

Remove grey lid/top with red four prong seal still attached.

Put your coffee in grey plastic/mesh filter basket after 1st lightly washing/rinsing it (do not fill over line under the word MAX inside cup!)

Place inside hole in unit, Lining up that small white arrow on the top grey lid to the backside of up your machine, the Keurig name & 2 lock symbols in white lettering are facing you and the front of your Keurig. The larger white circle on the filters’ top (with red adaptor still attached, sealing 4 holes not needed on the Mini Plus) grey lid is facing the left side. There’s no need to force the filter’s entire basket in the hole. You will simply feel it a little snug as you lightly twist in place.

I used coarse grind coffee that I used a grinder I bought here on Amazon to prepare.

Worked flawlessly – no leaks at all. (I actually held a towel around it just in case it exploded coffee out of it, just in case).

No mess, no leaks, no coffee grounds came out. Made a perfect cup of coffee. I took out the K-cup reusable filter immediately and set it in a cup, and then replaced the machine’s insert. I didn’t want to forget to put it back in when I use a standard k-cup pod.

I filled the mini-plus to the max line, it made the appropriate amount of coffee, no issues at all. The stream of coffee that came out of the machine was not a big as when you use a standard k-cup pod in the machine’s normal insert, but who cares? It did its job perfectly.

Product as described. Very happy, great flavor. Easy to use, and clean. Works great. For best flavor, grind whole coffee beans, and spoon into this filter. Do not fill above max level. Line up dot with unlock position, and turn to locked position when ready. I love that it saves me money, Works well with my model Keurig K-Iced Single Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker, Featuring Simple Push Blue Button Brew Over Ice, Grey which does not require the adaptor. No dislikes so far. Would recommend to others.

The so called holder 2.0 doesn’t seem to serve any purpose other than as a stand to hold the filter upright when not in use. Instructions are a little confusing. If anyone knows of any real purpose, please do share. Finally figured out that it really was useless and threw it in a drawer. The filter itself works great. Just remember to check the top is secured before brewing.
I was unsure about how much coffee it can hold so I asked the question here before buying. I can confirm it holds more than 2 tbsp without going over the max fill line.

Once I figured out how this works, it works great. Must be cleaned between uses for best coffee flavor. Easy to clean. We compost so we use the back of a teaspoon to tap the coffee into the bucket (trash would work) and rinse the filter. Best to fill inner filter (and it doesn’t not have to be filled all the way to the fill line for a good solid strong cup of coffee), place the lid on securely, then slide into the bottom part that slides into the Keurig machine. There is a protrusion on the side of this holder and the top of the lid locks firmly in place. Pop into the machine and you’ll have coffee. Great for the planet and great for no waste. Helps lower the cost of coffee as that’s all you’re paying for. We are both regular and decaf drinkers in the household so we now have more cupboard space as well.

For a long time I was buying a particular brand of coffee directly from Keurig for around 50 cents per cup. Keurig stopped making that brand of coffee so I tried over half a dozen different coffee suppliers. The coffee was not good, was not fresh, and was expensive. In some cases it was costing me over a dollar per cup. This might not sound like a lot, but when you have (in the family) 5 or 6 cups of coffee per day, that adds up to a lot of money over the course of a year.

I am now buying whole bean coffee for about $17 for two pounds. This translates to less than 25 cents per cup. The coffee I buy is freshly roasted with the roast date right on the package. I grind enough for about a week’s worth of coffee so it is always fresh. Each cup is WAY better than anything I ever brewed in a K-Cup.

For flavored coffee I just put back in the piece that you have to remove to accommodate the K-Cups. It takes like a second. Even my wife can do it. It is easy.

The reusable cups can be put in the dishwasher so you can get all the oil off so there is no buildup of residual bitterness. I bought a cage that goes in the dishwasher and put the parts of the reusable cups in the cage so they don’t go flying all over the dishwasher.

Sometimes the red rubber gasket (I guess that it what it is) comes off during the washing cycle. It is easy to put back on. Just have to make sure to line up with the holes in the lid and snap it back in. The reusable cups work without the red gasket, it just makes a tiny bit of a splash.

I first bought one to try it to make sure it worked and that I was going to like it. Now I have 7. One lid accidentally got put in the garbage disposal so I need to replace it. But by having 7 I always have one ready to use all throughout the day, and then when it comes time to clean them, I can put all 7 at the same time in the dishwasher and I have 7 ready to go for the next day.

If you want to save $$, save the environment, and have better tasting coffee, I recommend this product.

One last thing, Keurig makes a scoop that works perfectly for filling up the basket. It is called Perfect Pod EZ Scoop.
